Women With Weapons Wednesday...Whaaaaat?

Oh, sure!

Women With Weapons Wednesday.

I wrote about doing this way waaay back, in this post about bloggy goings-on.

Basically the idea is this: Since I tend to write about ass-kicking women who wield a wide variety of lethal implements, I figured I'd showcase such women on the blog.

Ergo, the Women With Weapons Wednesday series.

And there you have it.

Progress Notes: More On The Way

I'm sure lots of you out there are wondering. Ergo, here's what's up with KAT AND MOUSE...

KAT AND MOUSE: Tales of Episode #304
We are hip-deep in revisions. LadyAce has already made her Red Pen pass and I'm mopping up the carnage from said pass. Not too bad. A few details to rework and revamp and make pretty. And two added sequences to write. As of this posting, I'm probably looking at finishing revisions by mid- to late-March so it's likely this ep will go live by April-ish. More info to follow.

KAT AND MOUSE: Tales of Episode #305
Once #304 finally queues up at the site, I plan to take a short mental break before diving into episode breakdowns for #305 and then to the actual writing. Hoping to start actual word-making on #305 by May-ish.

I know.

Lots of "-ish" up there.

What I'm really trying to do is keep from burning out again. The Voices have been pretty good thus far and I'm doing what I feel I have to do to keep them from disappearing again. So in advance, thanks to you KAT AND MOUSE readers for your patience.

Egads! It's 2016!

By John Barrowman's Thighs!

It's 2016!

Happy New Year, Gang.

It's been a while since I posted so apologies for the radio silence.

Before I continue, a quick shoutout to fellow writer and AWer Joshua Roots. His latest book, PARANORMAL CHAOS, is now out in the wild. If you haven't gotten your copy yet, go do it now.

So.

Last time we posted we were talking about all the things we would do during NaNo.

Ha!

A likely story.

In fact, NaNo was a wash.

At least, a wash in the writing department. Only 1,500 words written during the whole of November. Shortly after NaNo began, The Voices laughed at me, pointed, and went quiet.

But I did hook up with a cool writing group during the write-ins and have now become a member of said group.

Crazy bunch of folk but my kind of crazy so it's all good.

The good news, however, is that shortly after NaNo ended, The Voices started whispering again. And last week, I finished the draft of the next KAT AND MOUSE episode.

We're still some weeks out from going live. I'm shooting for mid-March, but that may change.

I'll keep you posted.

And now, back to the Editing and Revision Cave.
