The Ancient Dread Gazebo

Here's my take on this particular critter, inspired by a recent Twitter conversation with user @carl_vanderpool.

(For those out there not familiar with the story, here's a link to it.)

Apparently, the dread gazebo had already been statted but I decided to add a little something to the creature. Gazebos always conjured up images of small towns and Fourth of July celebrations for me so I figured this variant would somehow use barbershop quartets and marching bands.

The Ancient Dread Gazebo

The ancient dread gazebo resembles a ornamental wooden pavilion structure sometimes found in stately gardens. But the actual dread gazebo itself is a creature rumored to have evolved from the darker regions of the Feywild. One source claims the first dread gazebo was brought to life by a coven of green hags as a guardian for their secret garden.

Up next, the Death Salad.
