Continuing with our little showcase...

Sorry, Holmes.

Keep your bloody finger off the bloody trigger unless you are ready to fire.

Don't be a wanker.

Cover Art Gun Follies #1

I've written before about gun use in fiction, especially when they've really screwed it up (I'm looking at you, Stephen King).

The other day, whilst combing through my previous bloggerings, I came across these two posts from the mists of time, and that sparked an idea for a bloggy feature. I thought I'd point out all the stupid ways cover art will screw up gun use. Particularly, their obsession with fingers on triggers, an obsession which really bugs the hell out of me.

Progress Notes: A Look In The Hopper

Okay, Gang. Here's how things look on the Projects Front...

KAT AND MOUSE: Tales of Episode #401
Plotting stage.

Steampunk Pulp Adventure Yarn
Worldbuilding and background work as done as it'll get. Plotting stage. I already have fun bits partially worked out.

Bay City PD Story
Preliminary opening down. More plotting to do, possibly a bit more character background work.

Military SF Yarn
Taking another look-see. Possibly tweaking. Will have to go back to my stack of notes.

And there you go, Gang.

Women With Weapons Wednesday...Whaaaaat?

Oh, sure!

Women With Weapons Wednesday.

I wrote about doing this way waaay back, in this post about bloggy goings-on.

Basically the idea is this: Since I tend to write about ass-kicking women who wield a wide variety of lethal implements, I figured I'd showcase such women on the blog.

Ergo, the Women With Weapons Wednesday series.

And there you have it.
